The classes at BAC are designed to reach all levels, whether you are a beginner or advanced. Our instructors are qualified to help you reach your fitness goals. Please join in at any time! We’ll be glad to see you there! The times for class meetings are as of September 2008.
Enjoy a "ride in the park" or "climb on the Parkway", the choice is yours in this high energy indoor cycling class. Strength and core training are often part of this 45 minute to one hour class. If you want motivation and a calorie-burning routine, this class is for you. All levels welcome.

The mega-mix class that offers the works! Each week features a combo-variety of interval, circuit, aerobic, step, kick box, mat and/or weight training with a concentration on strength moves and stretching. Various equipment used, with an emphasis on stability balls. All levels welcome.

The original barbell class that strengthens your entire body. This 60 minute workout challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight room exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls. Great music, instructors and your choice of weight inspire you to get the results you came for...and fast.

A blend of core conditioning elements from mat-work Pilates, along with other stretch and strengthening exercises. The focus is on elongation, flexibility, strength, posture, breathing, and the mind-body connection. Exercises explained at Levels I-III. Reforming for everyone.

This class integrates the breath with the body in a flowing series of yoga poses. These flowing poses encourage mental clarity, flexibility, strength, alignment and balance. You will find the class both relaxing and energizing. All ages and levels welcome.
Instructor: Laura Minerd
Using gentle, relaxing movements based on the Trager Approach, this class awakens the senses, lubricates the joints, and increases balance, coordination, muscle reflex and flexibility. The focus is on gentle movements that are enjoyable and pleasurable, encouraging the body to move with proper alignment, less tension and less restriction. We will do some light yoga, pilates and stretching along with relaxation exercises. This is a great class to warm-up for a strenuous aerobic workout, to prevent injury or to ease back into full strength during an injury. Also great for folks with movement restrictions.

This is a beginning class of functional training which concentrates on moves for daily living, such as walking, balancing, turning and breathing exercises. Stretching, light weights, ball exercises and strength training are included for postural muscles.

The empowering cardio workout where you are totally unleashed. This fiercely energetic program is inspired by martial arts and draws from a wide array of disciplines such as karate, boxing, taekwondo, t'ai chi and muay tai. Supported by driving music and powerful role model instructors, you strike, punch, kick and kata your way through calories to super cardio fitness.

The low-impact group fitness workout that lets you choose how hard you work. Using balls, tubes and optional hand weights, you're talked step-by-step through the entire class by a skilled instructor, all while listening to uplifting and inspiring music. Best of all, you leave feeling thoroughly rejuvenated and fizzing with energy!

Originally practiced as a form as Martial Arts, T'ai Chi consists of relaxed breathing in conjunction with a series of body postures practiced in a slow sequential pattern. Designed to improve balance, coordination, agility and self-awareness.
